How environmentally friendly is your packaging?

Our mission is to use recycled materials wherever possible with minimal use of plastics.  Our boxes are made from recycled paper and are 100% recyclable.  Our wood wool is eco-friendly and bio-degradable.  We use glass bottles instead of plastic, with metal tops, which are recyclable.

I didn’t receive my delivery, what do I do?

When your order was dispatched we sent you an an email with the details of the courier including your tracking number. You will be able to locate your package at any time between it leaving our facility and arriving at your chosen address. If the courier thinks the package has been delivered and you still believe it to be missing you should contact the courier with your tracking number as soon as possible.

How old do I need to be to order from your website?

As we sell alcoholic drinks all of our customers need to be of legal drinking age (18). When ordering, you are also agreeing that you have not purchased any alcohol for minors.

Something is broken, what do I do?

On the rare occasion that an item arrives in less than perfect condition, simply email your order number and include a high quality photograph of the damaged item, still in the Cocktails For Home packaging. We will dispatch a replacement item at no cost to you.

Can I send a box to a friend or relative?

Yes of course!  Our cocktail kits make great gifts.  At checkout you can select the option to send your purchase to an address other than your billing address. You can also send a message to the recipient. Remember that our kits need to be signed for by someone over the age of eighteen.

I suffer from allergies, which of your kits can I buy?

Our kits are all displayed on the website with a full list of the items included. Please take the time to thoroughly examine the contents before ordering, to ensure that you do not make a purchase, which includes items you may be allergic to.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. Our site is SSL secure and your payments are made through secure providers. We use Stripe and Paypal to process your payments.  More information on their security protocols can be found on their websites.

I didn’t get an order confirmation email.

There’s a few reasons this can happen. Maybe there’s a typo in your email address on your account? Check your spam folder to make sure we aren’t hanging out in there! You can always check the progress of your orders by logging into your account and clicking “orders”

What’s included in your cocktail kits?

A recipe card and all the ingredients you need to make incredible, bar standard cocktails. We send every ingredient you need, from the base spirit all the way to the garnish.  You’ll find it all in the box!  All you need to do to make the experience truly complete is to add some glasses and cocktail making tools to your order!

Do I need cocktail making equipment and special glassware?

No, it’s not essential and you can improvise with things you can find in your kitchen at home.  However, it’s much easier and quicker to make your cocktails with the right equipment.   This is why we list the tools required to make each cocktail and you can buy them all on our website.

Our glassware is industry standard sized so our recipes make the right amount to fill the glass.  The cocktails also look more impressive if they are served in the right glass.

How can I tell if I will like a cocktail before I buy it?

We have included a taste barometer for each drink. There’s also a guide to the main flavours and description of the drink, to help lead you to your perfect tipple! Always have a good look at all of the ingredients just to make sure you like them.

When and where do you deliver?

We deliver every working day to mainland UK (except weekends and bank holidays). Orders will be delivered within three working days. There may be some delay with deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands.

I ordered the wrong kit in error, can I exchange it?

Unfortunately, due to the contents of your kit being outside of our control once they are sent for delivery, we cannot accept them back into our stock. Please make sure to carefully check your order before proceeding to the checkout.

My order is wrong, what do I do?

You will find a Contents Card when you open your box.  Please check the inventory against what is in your parcel.  If you believe something is missing please email help@cocktailsforhome.com immediately. Please also include a contact number so we can work on your problem without any delay.

My purchase is a gift, what gift options are there?

When you arrive at the checkout you will have the option to mark your purchase as a gift and add a personalised message to the package.

How much alcohol is in a kit?

Every recipe is different and as you will be mixing alcohol with non alcoholic ingredients the drinks vary in strength. As a good rule of thumb our main cocktails, when made to our instructions, will be somewhere between a standard U.K double and a standard U.K treble measure.

I want to order kits for a corporate or special event.  Can you customise and brand boxes for me?

Yes we can!  We offer an extensive white label service. Email heidi@cocktailsforhome.com to discuss your specific requirements.

Can you offer cocktail making master classes?

Yes, we love showing people how to make our delicious cocktails!   Our fun and informative master classes are held at our bar, Montey’s in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.   Please email heidi@cocktailsforhome.com for more details.
